Who we are
Autora is run by Perennis Marketing Solutions Inc., based in Alberta, Canada. Autora helps vehicle-care shops plan social media posts. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices.

What we collect
- Your account: the email address you sign in with, and when you sign in and use the app.
- Your shop: what you tell us in setup: business name and type, locations, services, customers, tone, the claims you approve, words to avoid, call to action, how you film.
- Your requests and plans: what you ask Autora to plan (for example the service, style, vehicle, job date, condition notes, extra information and customer quotes) and the plans it writes, including your edits.
- How you use Autora: actions such as generating, copying, editing, rewriting, ticking shots and changing a post's status, with the time. We use these to run the beta and improve Autora.
- Your website, if you ask us to read it: the address, which pages we read and when. We use the text to fill in your setup; we don't keep a copy of the pages.
- Shot list links: when you share a shot list, we record which shots are ticked and that they were ticked through the link. People using the link don't need an account and we don't collect their names or contact details.
- On your device: a sign-in cookie to keep you signed in, and small notes your phone keeps for you (unsaved typing, ticks waiting for signal). No advertising or analytics cookies.
Your customers' information
Autora doesn't need your customers' personal information. Please don't include customer names, phone numbers or plate numbers in condition notes, extra information or customer quotes. If you do, it is processed as part of your request (including by our AI provider, below), and you are responsible for having the right to share it.
Why we use it
- To provide Autora: your setup, plans, shot lists, sign-in emails and support.
- To keep it secure and working: preventing misuse, enforcing limits, fixing problems.
- To run the beta: understanding which features help (for example how often plans are used or rewritten).
We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
Where it's stored
Your account, shop and plans are stored in Canada. Some processing happens outside Canada (for example by our AI provider), so your information may be accessed under the laws of those countries. [CONFIRM: cross-border disclosure wording under PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA]
How long we keep it
- Your account, shop and plans: while your account is open, then deleted within 30 days after it closes.
- Records of how Autora is used: 24 months.
- Our record of AI costs: kept, without personal details, so our accounts match our bills.
- Backups: kept by Supabase on its own schedule. [CONFIRM: Supabase backup retention for this project]
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing armaan@perennismarketing.ca. We'll answer within 30 days. [CONFIRM: response time and any exceptions] If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
How we protect it
- Data is encrypted between your phone and Autora.
- Each shop's information is walled off from every other shop in the database itself.
- Keys that can reach all data stay on our servers, never in the app on your phone.
- Shot list links are long and unguessable, expire after 14 days, and can be turned off at any time.
When we read your website
If you ask, we read up to 5 pages of your own website, skip any page that asks not to be indexed, and use one AI request to suggest details for your setup. Nothing is used until you check it. You confirm the website is yours or that you may use it.
Children
Autora is a tool for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the version above and ask you to agree again before you continue using Autora.
